Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Count started playing music at age 15 and toured professionally for 8 years right after high school. His bands Show Down and Straight Jacket opened for bands like Kansas, The Romantics, Eric Martin. Count moved to California in 1988 and played at Whisky A Go-Go and Gazzarri's in Hollywood. In the Bay Area he has performed all over including The Omni and The Hill. His main influences are Keith Emerson, Yes, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Deep Purple, Van Halen, David Bowie. He has written and recorded over 1400 songs of original music and has done hundreds of videos of music and bands . Besides the keyboards, Count plays the guitar, harmonica, and sax.
A native to the Bay Area, Ben first picked up the guitar at age 13. His first love was the drums, then later developed his skills for both instruments when he received his first real drum kit at age 15. He was always into music and bands. In his 20s, he landed a regular gig as a drummer for a Top-40 cover band playing dance music for about 4 years performing mostly in the South Bay and Sacramento area. On the guitar, Ben has written, co-written, and recorded numerous originals in the Hard Rock-Alternative Rock-80s Metal genre. His favorite/influential artists include Edward Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stewart Copeland, John Bonham.
Hailing from the Bay Area as well, Kevin has been playing the drums since the age of 13. At age 15, he started playing in various clubs throughout the Bay Area including The Omni in Berkeley, The Stone in San Francisco, among others. He earned his Certificate in Music & Recording Industry at San Francisco State University. Courses included Tour Management, Audio Production, Concert Promotion, Artist Management. His main influences are John Bonham, Ian Paice, Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, Clive Burr. Kevin also plays the guitar and bass.
Tony grew up in the North Beach of San Francisco. As a child he played cello and was recommended to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, however the high school only had a jazz band so he switched to electric bass. With his love for all genres of music, he went on to support hard rock, southern rock, reggae, blues, and R&B bands in the Bay Area, and released a CD of cover songs and original music with Big Earl's Blue Band in late 90's. Tony minored in music at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo while earning his Electronics Engineering degree. His influences/favorite bassists include but not limited to John Entwistle, Tina Weymouth, James Jamerson, Leland Sklar, Donald "Duck" Dunn, Victor Wooten, Ron Carter. Tony also has fun playing drums and guitar.
We spent a day shooting this video, rocking hard and having fun with some of our classic rock and alternative rock dance covers from our set list. This was shot on location at Soundwave Studios in Oakland in 2020.
